Order Cancellation Policy

At KRI Chikankari, we strive to accommodate your needs, including order cancellations. Please review our order cancellation policy to understand how this process works.

Cancellation Timing:

  • Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched from our warehouse.
  • Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
  • For prepaid orders that are successfully cancelled before dispatch, the complete refund will be processed to the customer's original payment method.
  • In the case of Cash On Delivery (COD) orders, no refund will be applicable for cancelled orders.


Exchanges:

  • We offer exchanges for size or colour variations of the same product, subject to availability.
  • Please inform us of any exchanges within 5 days of the delivery date.
  • Merchandise for exchange must be in unworn, unwashed, un-altered condition with all original tags and labels attached.
  • We request you to capture clear parcel opening videos of your order as customers may be asked to provide photographic evidence of the product received to facilitate the exchange/ return process.
  • Please also capture parcel packing videos while returning your order to avoid any issues during the return process.
  • If you wish to exchange a product, please follow the return process mentioned below.
  • Exchange products are only shipped once the original product is received back in good condition and passes our quality check.
  • In case the replacement product is of a higher value, you will need to pay the price difference in advance.


Returns:

  • Customers can return any unworn, unwashed, un-altered or defective merchandise purchased from our online store.
  • Please inform us of any returns within 5 days of the delivery date.
  • All original tags and labels must be intact and attached to the merchandise.
  • Returns must be accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.

Return Process

  • Customers can create a return request in one of the following ways:
  • Log in to your account on our website and initiate the return through your order history.
  • Use the "Returns" link located in the footer of our website.
  • Please capture parcel packing videos while returning your order to avoid any issues during the return process.
  • Additionally you can also contact our customer care through email or phone to raise a return request.
  • Please make sure that your return request is generated within 5 days of the delivery date.
  • Once the request has been generated, our team will then arrange a reverse pickup from the delivery address within 2-3 working days.
  • Please note that reverse pickup can only happen from the delivery address and pickup address cannot be changed.
  • We offer return pickup services across most pin codes throughout India.
  • However, please note that not all pin codes are covered.
  • If your pin code is not serviceable for return pickup, you will need to arrange for courier services at your own expense.
  • We recommend using a reliable courier and sending us the shipping details via email.
  • Once the returned merchandise is received and passes our quality check, refunds are processed within 15 business days.
  • The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • In the case of Cash on Delivery(COD) payments, refunds will be made through a bank transfer or UPI.
  • Customers are required to provide their bank account details or UPI details for this purpose.


Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If customers receive damaged or defective merchandise, they must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
  • We request you to capture clear parcel opening videos of your order as customers may be asked to provide photographic evidence of the damage or defect to facilitate the return process.
  • Please also capture parcel packing videos while returning your order to avoid any issues during the return process.


Non-returnable items:

  • Certain items such as undergarments, swimwear, and personalized/customized products may not be eligible for return or exchange due to hygiene reasons or customization.
  • Merchandise bought on discount is considered as final sale, and hence is not eligible for store credit or exchange.
  • Customised or personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or damaged.


Refunds

We offer two methods of refunds :

Store Credit:

  • Customers may opt for store credit, which can be used towards future purchases on our website.
  • The store credit will be in the form of a voucher code redeemable for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • The store credit issued will be of the exact value of the goods returned.

 

Account Refund:

  • All account refunds are issued via bank transfers or UPI, which can take up to 15 business days.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. For all refunds processed to a bank account or via UPI, a flat return shipping fee of ₹150 will be deducted. This fee is waived if the customer opts for an exchange, store credit or arranges and bears the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
