Welcome to Kri Chikankari, where tradition meets modernity in the heart of Lucknow. Founded in 2015 by Khushboo Rastogi, our label embodies the rich heritage of chikankari embroidery, reimagined for the contemporary woman. At our core, we aim to revolutionize the perception of chikankari, showcasing its versatility beyond ethnic wear.

Growing with Artisanal Integrity
From humble beginnings as a team of 5, Kri Chikankari has grown to a family of 25 passionate individuals, working alongside over 500 talented women artisans. We take pride in our vertically integrated approach, making everything in-house in our factory. Each garment undergoes rigorous quality checks at every step of the production process. Despite sharing the same design, no two garments are exactly alike, as each piece is meticulously crafted by hand. We are proud to be one of few factories that have found the fine balance between industrial and artisanal processes. While we utilize industrial-grade sewing machines to ensure excellent stitch quality and efficiency, we also employ traditional block printing by hand to retain the artisanal essence of our craft.
Empowering Women
What sets KRI apart is our dedication to fostering both artistry and social responsibility. We believe in nurturing a supportive ecosystem for our team and empowering our artisans with fair wages and sustainable practices. That's why we've partnered with DEWI Foundation, an NGO committed to training underprivileged women in chikankari. Through this partnership, we aim to provide skill development opportunities to empower women and uplift communities.
